Barry was Awesome! I want to start out by saying that our original DJ we hired canceled on us at the last minute and with a few months we were stressed about finding a DJ. I reached out to Elite Entertainment and they were amazing getting back to us quickly and helping us with everything. We explained to him we weren't really sure about what to play other than dinner music which was slower because our families aren't really big dancers. Best Decision We Made We were introduced to Elite Entertainment through my husband's sister, who had a fantastic experience with them at her own wedding. Upon exploring their staff page, Barry Bostick immediately caught our attention. His Mixcloud link and the fact that he streamed his DJ sets on Twitch.tv piqued our interest. Our initial conversation with Barry was nothing short of fantastic - we clicked right away. In that discussion, we expressed our desire for a unique blend of 90s and 00s throwbacks, reggae, dancehall, and soca. Given our Jamaican and Irish-Italian backgrounds, it was essential for us to have a DJ who could gauge the energy of the room. From that very first interaction, it was clear that Barry was the perfect fit for us. Curious to see him in action, I tuned into his Twitch livestream. The moment he realized I was watching, he started playing the exact vibes we had discussed - I was dancing throughout the entire stream. Wedding of our dreams! Barry was one of the main reasons of why our wedding was so amazing. From the very beginning Barry was so attentive & helpful. Guests are still raving and asking for our wedding soundtrack We were concerned about hiring a DJ as we did not want the normal wedding music. We wanted some strange mashups, and not your typical wedding music, for example: I walked into nothing else matters. Would Recommend to Everyone I Know In an effort to not sound biased since he was used for our wedding; Barry was absolutely amazing with his song selections and MC'ing. He was always quick to respond and helped us with minute details we did not even think of for our ceremony and reception. Although we had some 'must play' songs, we felt comfortable letting Barry feel out our crowd and I don't think our dance floor stopped all night. One special memory and detail we will never forget and should be mentioned; Barry played one of our all-time favorites (Paradise by the Dashboard Lights-Meatloaf) and had the dance floor separate between men and women for the back-and-forth portion of the song and gave us the microphone to sing it ourselves. You kind of need to know the song but it was an extra effort made on his part that made our day special. Bridal Shower My Mom was kind enough to include booking a DJ from Elite Entertainment for my bridal shower last night. Barry from Elite Entertainment was chosen as our DJ and we could not be happier with our decision. From start to finish, Barry was absolutely amazing. In the beginning of the night before our guests arrived, Barry and I discussed what we would like to hear / what we did not want to hear - and he completely delivered. He played all of our favorite songs and included additional music that we absolutely loved, and kept the dance floor moving from start to finish. He even took requests from our guests; in particular, he took the request to play “Come On Eileen” to honor our 87 year old Grandma who loves to dance! Barry made our wedding INCREDIBLE Barry was the DJ and MC for our wedding. The DJ was the most important vendor to us because we wanted the reception to be FUN with a packed dance floor all night. Barry did just that! He made the bridal party entrances exciting, timed the music perfectly for the first dances, and kicked the party off right after the speeches and formalities were over. We had a full 40 minute dance set before dinner even started and we had a BLAST. He played the perfect mix of oldies and new songs that had everyone on the dance floor. Impeccable Performance It is impossible to put into words how amazing our experience with Barry was for our wedding. Great Prom DJ for two years. We had the pleasure of hiring DJ Barry from Elite Entertainment for our school’s prom for the past 2 years and we are very happy with the results. Incredible, exceeded all our expectations We got married 03/18/2023 and Barry was our DJ for the reception. We planned the wedding ourselves without the help of any planners or coordinators. As we got closer to the day, even though we had everything we needed, I was nervous about how the day would flow together. We gave Barry a timeline that we worked out and he really put the whole night together. From our introductions, to the bouquet toss, shoe game, and toast, he absolutely killed it. He knew the perfect moments to begin each event and corresponded it with amazing music that went along so well. We didn’t really give him a lot to go on as far as music suggestions because our guests enjoy such a wide range of music, but he did fantastic choosing songs and getting everyone out on the dance floor. We didn’t have a single complaint and everyone came up to us afterwards saying what a great time they had. I also highly recommend getting prop packages if that’s available to you because it added so much fun to the night. Our guests were jamming out to rock songs on blow up guitars, jumping up and down with light up disco sticks and really just having the time of their lives. The photos we got back from the photographers were amazing and it was definitely a night to remember for everyone who celebrated with us. Barry is a true professional Barry was an amazing DJ. We believe that the DJ can make or break the party and is one of the most important details of your wedding - probably even more important than the food. We discovered Barry from my niece's wedding. It was one of the best weddings we had ever been to, and a big reason for that was the music! We immediately hired him. Our wedding was in PA, but travel wasn't an issue, which was great. Barry worked with us to craft the parts of the wedding we wanted a certain way, but aside from that, we let him do his thing to get people dancing, and he did an excellent job. The dance floor was full before the bar was even open! This made me very happy because I hate weddings where people don't dance. So, to see 90% of our guests dancing was fantastic. Professional and FUN! I worked with Elite Entertainment's Barry Bostick for my 50th bday BASH. He was perfect! Barry made sure that I was comfortable with the song selection, but then he went one step further - he let me pick a lot of my own songs. Everything that Barry did was bespoke and leaned into everything I wanted to achieve. Dance music, chill music, family music, etc. He also did an amazing job working in with my band. Easy to Work With & Great Music! We went with Elite Entertainment for our wedding DJ. We were very happy with the whole booking process, their easy to use planning website, and then all of the services provided. Our DJ and MC was Barry and he was fantastic! My husband and I hired Elite as a one stop shop (photo, video & DJ) and were not disappointed! Not only did having one vendor for all three make things simpler, but we had a phenomenal experience with the entire team. Barry was our DJ (the perfect choice) who took any/all of our non conventional requests with poise and provided great suggestions and expertise in ensuring our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception ran smoothly. As if I needed any additional confirmation, it truly spoke volumes when strangers staying at the Minerals Hotel who didn't know me/weren't attending the wedding, stopped me to inquire about the great music not only the night of but when I was spotted in my Mrs. sweatshirt the following morning. Our DJ Barry was excellent. He was easy to work with and understood the variety of music we requested for the wedding and was able to take it to the next level.
