I worked Kim and Scotts wedding at McLoone’s Pier House in Long Branch and Mike Walter, my “boss”, worked there the next day. The Thursday before he told me to keep the place standing so I did the best I could. We had such a blast partying with Kim and Scott. There is nothing better than working a wedding when it’s your referral because everybody knows what to expect… a slammin party from me (haha). Everyone danced from start to finish. Instead of the traditional sit down dinner, Kim and Scott wanted McLoone’s to set up cocktail stations around the room to keep open all night. This way people can eat when they want and dance when they want. No sitting down. We kept it upbeat most of the time with only a couple slow songs. The music Kim and Scott wanted was great. They loved the 80′s sing a long stuff and wanted a ton of old school club and hip hop. A bunch of people came up to us at the end of the night to grab business cards from us, so I hope to party with this group again soon. So, Mike Walter, I think I kept the place standing for ya.
Small group in a big room. We were in the big room (Janine’s room) at the Crystal Point in Point Pleasant. As always the wedding was perfect with Jeanine running the show and the staff doing an amazing job. It was a smaller wedding with a huge dance floor which sometimes can be a challenge, but not with this group. Jessica and Tristan’s guests were ready to party. Right from the start, before the party began, only the wedding party were hanging out in the room. We did a sound check and my assistant Rob Habermann played a TLC song. Next thing you know, the members of the wedding party were dancing around and acting wild. That is always a great sign of a good party. That’s exactly what happened. The dance floor was packed all night with a huge mix of music. If there is one thing I know from doing this so many years is that if you have a Bride and Groom, along with their wedding party, dancing all night, all the guests will join in on the fun.
Here’s the story of Nina (now Thompson) and her husband James!
Wow! What a way to begin the new year! It was January 4th 2013 Nina and her fiancé James arrived at the Versailles Ballroom (of The Ramada in Toms River) overjoyed to be getting married. And how could they not be? They had Elite Video, Elite Digital Images and Yours Truly as their Elite Entertainer on the scene to create new memories! Adding to the fun was an Elite Photobooth (and Elite’s purple uplighting surrounded the room).
Soon it was party time and the dance floor was packed! There were a few audience songs (Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble), but mostly it was dance/pop music with not much in the way of oldies! There was some latin music as well, “Que Precio Tiene El Cielo” by Marc Anthony (salsa) and “Suavemente” by Elvis Crespo (merengue).Brooke & Chris

Congratulations to Amber & Chad on getting married! We had such a great time Djing their Ceremony, Reception, & After Party. We also had the unique experience of Djing on the top of a Mountain (Hunter Mountain, NY).
The day kicked off with guests taking the ski-lift up to the top of Hunter mountain where we were treated to a beautiful view of the Catskills (At approximately 4,040 feet in elevation, it is the second-highest peak in the Catskill Mountains.) I can say it was my 1st time having to ride a ski lift to get to DJ a Ceremony. Amber & Chad also brought with them some sand from Long Branch, NJ where they 1st met on the beach. They spread the sand out at the spot of their vows so they could have a bit of their 1st date with them on their Wedding day. They also incorporated the Love Letter and Wine Box Ceremony into their Wedding which was very special.
After the Ceremony the guests took the ski lift back down the mountain to the Coppertree Restaurant where we would have the Cocktail Hour followed by the Reception. To help with an already fun wedding, we had a Photo Montage which played throughout the night as well as Intelligent lighting. The Introductions, 1st dance, Parents dances, and toasts (great job Jaclyn!!) all added fun and some tears to the Wedding.
The guests danced the night away to new and old hits and since almost everyone was staying at the Lodge, no one left until the last song.
The night was not over though, a shuttle took the guests to the Lodge where we kicked off the After Party. There was a Bar, Food, outside Fire Pit, Cigars, and of course Music. We played new hits, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Rock, all fun drinking and party music until early in the Sunday A.M.
In all it was an amazing and unique event which was helped by a very fun Bridal Party and Bride & Groom. A big shout out goes to Amber & Chad (Bride & Groom), Dennis & Lynn (Parents of the Bride), John & Bonnie (Parents of the Groom) and the entire Bridal Party: Jaclyn, Justina, Victoria, Jillian, Amanda, Danielle B., Danielle P., Kevin, Casey, Cory, Marc, Tim, Kevin, Devin, & Tom!
