Simon Cowell of American Idol fame often says that talent only accounts for so much. A true star needs to have the “it” factor. In the world of Elite Entertainment, the moment Peter walked through our doors, we knew he had IT.
Peter has a great look, an outgoing and friendly personality and an innate love of music. Indeed as a musician he has played live music up and down the Jersey Shore for years. So when he first became interested in DJing – Peter was a perfect fit. He took to emceeing and leading group participation the way he takes to everything, he threw himself in and strove for perfection. Mike often commented during training that Peter was the hardest working student he’d ever had and since the inception of his emceeing career, Peter has never stopped pushing himself to be the best.
Peter is mature and poised and is the perfect entertainer for every function from weddings and corporate events to Sweet Sixteens and School Dances. If you’d like to reserve Peter for your upcoming party, call now!

Jennifer & Isaac Satten’s Wedding
Rutger’s Gardens &
Waterview Pavillion, Belmar, NJSo many great things to say about tonight’s wedding with Jennifer and Isaac, I don’t even know where to begin. We first met about 2 months prior to the wedding, and we hit it off right from the start. They were both very organized and passionate about the music for their ceremony and reception, which I LOVE, and it got us off to a great start.
Their ceremony was at Rutger’s Gardens, a beautiful field completely surrounded and isolated by evergreens…a unique and intimate setting that I’d never seen before. Having never played for a ceremony there, I elected to join them at their rehearsal two days prior to the wedding, so I could get the lay of the land, find power, sound check, etc. It turned out to be a great decision because we were able to rehearse the ceremony complete with music, which made all the difference in making today go smoothly.
A few hours after the ceremony, we all met up again at the Waterview Pavillion in Belmar for their reception, and the good times commenced. The dance floor was not only packed from edge to edge all night, but we had everyone of all ages out there, as we jumped back and forth between the oldies, classic dance music, and everything from today.
The best moment had to be opening up the dance floor for the first time, for which I invited Jennifer’s mother out to join her on the dance floor, and kicked it off with Old Time Rock and Roll, her mom’s favorite, and it made their night. Everyone came out to join them and we quickly had a great big circle around Jenn and Isaac that led to some phenomenal dance sets…all before dinner! It was truly my pleasure to work with this beautiful couple, and I wish them all the best of love and happiness for the rest of their lives!
Wow! What a night. This is without a doubt my favorite Holiday event of the year, and this is only my second straight year with this party. Schlesinger has a completely different take on the typical Holiday Party, choosing a theme and running with it to create something very elaborate. I was wondering how they could top last year’s Wizard of Oz theme (which saw a nearly complete reenactment of the movie with all the characters in costume), and they certainly did with a “Super Friends” theme. A giant banner hung over the room that read, “Schlesinger Hall of Justice!”, and every table was adorned with every possible piece of superhero memorabilia the party planners could locate. Superman and Batman-branded candies that I didn’t even know still existed!
They followed up with another brilliant skit, several employees participating in costume (with scripts and dialogue and music for me to coordinate as well!), and had the place rolling with laughter. They certainly know how to create a great vibe for a party, because after dinner and the skit ended, they got up on the dance floor and did not come off for 3 straight hours. It’s treat for any DJ to be a part of this event, and I’m already looking forward to next year!
Just as the Holidays themselves are always a great way to end the year, Holiday Parties are a great way to end a season of DJ’ing. The pressure is off for everyone, and all are looking to let loose and have a great time. Down to my last 3 events of 2011 and St. Dominic’s Church was a lot of fun. They danced to just about every kind of music we could fit into 4 hours. Highlights for me were having a few of the Deacons out there for a couple seconds of the Electric and Cha Cha Slide, and a random request for “It’s Raining Men” with 5 minutes left in the party that blew the roof to close things out. This was my first time with this group and I certainly hope to be back next year!
