Chuck Crerand

Go ahead and try. We dare you. Try to find a time when Chuck isn’t smiling.

That’s right, the happiest guy that any of us have ever met is also the perfect entertainer for your upcoming event.

Chuck started DJing at house parties when he was 16. He performed all through High School at Break Dance Competitions across New Jersey and New York. He loves music and people and is the perfect addition to the Elite staff. And while his days of spinning around on his head may be over, his love of partying will never die. Chuck tells us one of the things he loves about DJing is “picking the right music that packs the dance floor no matter what it is: club, country, even big band . . . as long as the party is hoppin’ it’s good.”

Besides DJing, Chuck is an active Elks member and spends much of his free time volunteering for committee’s that support handicapped children and adults. He also does a lot of work with Veterans.

Chuck is the perfect emcee for Weddings and Corporates parties and is ideal for School Dances and Sweet Sixteens as well. He is guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face at your party… including his own!

  • The Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowl for Kidsake

I’ve been DJing  this particular event  for Big Brothers/Big Sisters for 3 years now. It’s really an honor to be part of a great fundraiser.  To be honest when I was going to DJ this party I thought how much fun could a bowling party really be? Let me tell you, after the first year of DJing this event I look forward to DJing it every year now.  I took a few pictures this year to show you just how much I have with this crowd.

All 26 lanes of the alley were filled!

I got to set up right in the middle of the action!

Of course, I have to get some dance time in.

  • Ashley and Dan Love Chuck Crerand | V-Log

Ashley and Dan were married on Saturday August 28th. Their reception was at a private residence in Brielle. So not only was Chuck the MC and DJ for the event but he also stepped in and handled some of the Matre De duties as well. As you can tell, Ashley and Dan loved Chuck and would highly recommend him!
  • 22nd Annual Festival of Trees

You may not know it but Elite DJ’s see all types of events. Obviously weddings, sweet sixteen’s, proms, so on and so forth. But every now and again we get the opportunity to DJ charitable events. Well, this past Tuesday night happened to be one of those great opportunities.

This was the 22nd Annual Festival of Trees. Without too much detail, it pretty much is an event where all the money made is evenly divided up and donated to all the participating charities. There were over 600 attendees and 150 silent auction and raffle prizes.

I had been coordinating with my contact for about a month now. I was told there was a man named Lou who was going to be hosting the night for the first three hours. I had no argument there. I’m sure he has experience in talking on a microphone and hosting parties, but if not I could always jump in to help him. When I met this Lou, I introduced myself and shook hands and he told me his name was Lou Russo. WOW! I was getting the opportunity to work with Lou from Lou and Liz in the Morning on 94.3 the Point. I can’t say enough about how cool of a man he was. We told jokes all night and talked about our experiences in our different fields of entertainment.

I never got to get people on the dance floor because of the jam packed schedule of performances by the students from Step in the Right Direction Dance School and also Hawkswood School Choir and Memorial School Choir. But I was able to add my own touch to the night by playing upbeat and new music after each prize winner and between the stellar performances.

All and all, it was an awesome night! Tons of money raised and got to meet and make friends with some amazing people including “THE” Lou Russo ha ha.
